About me

My professional life is in education. Yes, I still actually teach in schools, secondary schools in London, where I live. I no longer work full time. I have too many other interesting things to do with my life. I was trained as an artist; and there was a time when I thought I was going to be a great artist. But it did not happen. I still have time for art, but not as much as I did before. Travel now plays an important part in my life. And there are still loads of places I will love to go. My interest in plants, and particularly succulents, keep me busy, and it is quite an effort to grow them in this temperate climate. Born Martin Winston James in Trinidad, Martin got lost along the way, and is only used by family. Websites are new to me, and are a great challenge. I will keep trying to improve, and maybe one day I will produce that spectacular website.
